PG Majors Elected to Top WCSA Positions

During 2006-07, OWU's student governing body, the Wesleyan Council
on Student Affairs, will be run by PG Majors. Seniors Marie Rymut
will serve as President, Dale Stewart will serve as Vice President,
Jason Ramsey will serve as Treasurer, and Amanda Husted will serve
as Secretary.
All four officers spent fall 2005 working on Capitol Hill with
the Wesleyan in Washington program:
Husted interned with Congressman David Hobson
(R-OH)
Ramsey with Senator Joseph Biden (D-DE)
Rymut with Congressman Tim Ryan (D-OH)
Stewart with Congresswoman Jo Ann Emerson (R-MO)
Both Emerson and Hobson are Ohio Wesleyan graduates.
Ramsey said they all were motivated to run for WCSA prior to going
to Washington but the time there together will make it much easier
to work together as WCSA executives. Husted, Ramsey, and Stewart
plan to attend law school upon graduation while Rymut has medical
school ambitions.

staying stateside; that is, until Wesleyan in Washington came

Destination: New York City!
Forty Ohio Wesleyan students from around
the globe spent Thanksgiving break taking in the sites of New
York City (photo by Deb Lamp).
What would Thanksgiving Day be like without the obvious-turkey-and,
of course, the 75-year-old plus Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade?
A trip to New York City, with or without a parade is, however,
quite spectacular, particularly for a college student from Thailand
who has never before been to NYC...read
